About Us

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Islamic Malay Australian Association of NSW (IMAAN) is a non profit organisation serving the Malay Muslim community and wider Sydney Muslim community. As caretakers for the Masjid Darul Imaan at Wolli Creek, Sydney Australia. IMAAN strives to provide services and guidance to the Muslim community as well as the wider Australian community.

The Masjid Darul Imaan is being renovated to accommodate more people but continues to conduct five daily prayers. IMAAN also has a weekend school for the Islamic education and training for children at all levels as well as adults with various classes also held during the week. Membership is open and all people from the community. You are invited to join us in helping us spread the knowledge and awareness of Islam and remove the misconception some people hold.

The Masjid Darul Imaan is undergoing building works and your understanding for any inconvenience is appreciated. You may also make donations to this worthy cause with your wealth or time as a volunteer.

Mission Statement

Imaan aims to provide a focal point at Masjid Darul Imaan, of enlightenment of the Quran and Sunnah for its members and those of the greater Australian Muslim community and wider community. In order to enhance understanding and allay the many misconceptions about Islam. Our mission is to encourage people of all ages and ethnic groups to learn and develop their knowledge of Islam, to bridge the gap between the communities by providing the necessary resources.

We are committed to da’wah based on the fundamental truth that Allah (swt) is the source of all guidance, we pray that our endeavours are accepted, Insha Allah. We work to enhance and improve the respect and cultivate our identity in the community with special consideration for the cultural diversity in Australia. We seek to improve and develop the skills and well being of our members and our programs to benefit the wider community.
